Enjoy races in style

September 30, 2017

Do the Seymour Cup in style this year and book yourself a marquee trackside to make the most of your day out.

But marquee booking close in a little over a week — on October 6 — so get in quick to ensure you have the ultimate day out at this year’s Godolphin Seymour Cup Day.

If you’re between 18 and 30 years of age, look no further than the Little Green Ultimate Party Marquee.

The party marquee is the all-inclusive deal of the day.

For just $99 per person, you’ll spend the day within the silk-lined, fully-furnished marquee overlooking the track and be right in among all the action of cup day.

You’ll enjoy finger food all day, while an endless supply of CUB beer, Little Green Apple cider, Mitchelton wines and soft drink will keep you well hydrated.

The price also includes racecourse admission, Chase Nightclub DJs, and free entry and shuttle bus to the after-party at Chase Nightclub.

If the party marquee isn’t your scene, there is a host of other marquee options available to book for the day.

Godolphin Seymour Cup Day is a great way to entertain your family, friends and work colleagues, and the range of great package options — including restaurant dining, marquees, umbrella packages, catering and beverages — will ensure you enjoy a great day out in style at the country races this cup day.

Catering can be provided by the Glen Erin Group for all marquees. Food will be served directly to the enclosures throughout the day and will consist of various platters including homemade dips and breads, chicken drumettes, cheese tarts, kabana, breads and wraps filled with meats and salads, mini desserts and cheeses.

Beverages can be pre-ordered and delivered to the marquees in ice tubs for when guests arrive.

Mini marquees

Mini marquees cost $300 for 10 people, and include a 3m x 3m marquee with a roof and three sides, 10 chairs and a table.

Entertainer marquees

These marquees cost $950 for 20 people, who will be housed in a 6m x 4m marquee.

Inside the marquee are two large round tables and 16 chairs, while outside will be a large market umbrella, a garden table and four chairs, all contained within a picket fence enclosure.

Umbrellas cost $230 for 10 people and include a 3.6m-wide market umbrella with 10 chairs and a table.

●The Godolphin Seymour Cup Day will be held on October 22.

Gates open at 10.30am. Shuttle buses will run to and from the Seymour Station in the morning and afternoon.

Pre-purchased admission is $20, or $25 at the gate. Or become a member of the club today from just $49 to enjoy member-only benefits, discounts and promotions all season, plus the chance to win a 2018 Toyota Yaris, courtesy of Seymour Toyota.
