The Broadford-based group secured the funding as part of the second round of the Victorian Government’s Biodiversity On-ground Action program.

State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said the local community initiative would help to protect, improve and expand habitats for Victoria’s native plants and animals, and contribute to the targets in the Victorian Government’s Biodiversity Plan Biodiversity 2037: Protecting Victoria’s Environment.
