The Melbourne season of the international award-winning hit musical The Bodyguard will kick off at the Regent Theatre on August 24.

The star-studded cast of The Bodyguard includes Paulini (from Australian Idol fame) as Rachel Marron, Kip Gamblin as bodyguard Frank Farmer and Prinnie Stevens as Nicki Marron.
The show is based on the Warner Bros. movie of the same name, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, and tells the story of former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, who is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker.
Each expects to be in charge — what they don’t expect is to fall in love.
The show will also feature all the songs you love, including Run to You, I Have Nothing, Greatest Love Of All, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and one of the greatest songs of all time — I Will Always Love You.
