Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Romsey girl Jodie Binks-Brown.

It is believed she may be travelling to the Seymour area, after social media messages to estranged relatives were found.

The 13-year-old was last seen about 7.45am this morning (21 July) in Romsey walking to the school bus with her brother.

She told her brother she’d forgotten her shoes and went home to get them, however she did not return catch the bus with her sibling.

Later that day her parents found other clothing, a back pack and her bicycle missing from the house.

Jodie was last seen wearing her school uniform including a navy blue t-shirt with red stripes, a navy blue rain coat with red stripes, navy blue tracksuit pants and white runners.

Police have concerns for Jodie’s welfare given her young age, and she does not have a phone or access to money.

Anyone with information about Jodie is urged to contact Kyneton Police Station on 5421 2900.
