A number of local businesses have been selected as finalists for this year’s Strathbogie Shire Business Awards.

From a broad cross-section of industry, the finalists were hand-picked by anonymous judges, and are in with the chance to receive an award in the seven categories.

The judges will now make evaluations and comparisons of the finalists within each category, before the awards are announced on September 1 at a gala dinner.

Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will be held at Mitchelton Wines.

The dinner will be a semi-formal evening with a two-course meal, complimentary wine on arrival and all other drinks at bar prices.

The guest speaker will be VRC chairperson Amanda Elliott, with ABC Goulburn Murray’s Warwick Long as MC for the evening.

The special early-bird price of $75 closes on Sunday, with all other tickets available for $85 until they sell out.

There will also be bus transport available at $15 per person (return) from Euroa or Nagambie.
