Nagambie Rifle Club hosted Karramomus on Saturday.

There was a gentle wind which was enough to upset shooters and coaches, varying the speed and direction of shots.

The Nagambie team shot extremely well to earn a well deserved win, scoring full points on the handicap system.

With one round to go the situation is very close for the finals.

Round four of the Goulburn Valley Rifle Association’s pennant has seen some excellent results carded.

The McAuliffe Shield handicap event saw Nagambie (900 points) defeat Karramomus (897).

East Central (896) beat Shepparton Nathalia Gold (875), while Shepparton Nathalia Maroon (891) defeated Katandra (874).

In the Parker Cup the target rifle scratch event saw Shepparton Nathalia Maroon score 739.86; Katandra 730.50; Karramomus 730.70 and Nagambie 397.24.
