Earlier this term the Years 1 and 2 students headed off to Echuca for an overnight camp.
After exploring the historic Port of Echuca the students travelled down the Murray River on the P. Pevensey.
Students learned many facts about the history of the port and the paddle steamer.
It was then that students visited Twisted Science to challenge their minds with science play.
They were able to make fantastic flying machines and launch them on a wind table, and experience challenges to test their reaction speed, and build a river.
The following day it was off to Kyabram Fauna Park.
Students took part in an educational session during which they learned about animal habitats before heading out to explore the park.
Students were able to experience wetlands and see animals in their natural habitat to further their knowledge in the inquiry unit of Life and Living.
