It might be the off-season, but there is still plenty of bowls and business to attend to.

It might be the off-season, but there is still plenty of bowls and business to attend to.

During the past few weeks the club has had two important items on the bowling calendar — presentation night and the annual meeting.

Congratulations to all those bowlers who were present to collect their trophies and certificates.

Thanks to the guests who attended and helped the club celebrate this event.

A good attendance was recorded at the presentation, but unfortunately fewer members showed interest in the annual meeting.

Social bowls has been well attended in the past month.

It has been great to see the number of new bowlers attending and enjoying the games each day.

Tuesday’s jackpot pairs has been well attended, although last Tuesday was cancelled due to rain.

Jackpot triples as usual is well attended. If you wish to play, enter your names on the sheet in the clubhouse.

Saturday bankers is continuing to grow in numbers each week.

Last Saturday, 28 players took part with three teams winning all games on a count back.

The winners were Ken Malin, Denise Hogan and Dennis Klein.
